"Fly agaric" lustre flambe vase - 2

This vase is tubelined with a fine outline of slip which gives a three dimensional effect to the design. It is then painted with underglaze colours and decorated with metallic lustres. This vase is then fired in a special reduction firing which reveals the beautiful lustrous effects.
